Did ScaleKraft release any Maseratis? I have seen a number of Ferraris that Guido did, but I haven't seen any of the Maseratis.

Hi.
Scalekraft produced a kit of the 450s Maserati, not perfect in shape, but a very nice starting point, and the only model kit of this beautyfull car in this scale (that I know of)
I was fortunate enough to get a copy of this kit a few years ago (and I mean a copy, unfortunately not an original Scalekraft)
Follow the link below to have a look at some pictures of it at my local Modelling forum here in Portugal.
Best regards, and good modelling!

...Apparently there was also the 151/1 and 151/3 Maseratis, but I wonder if they have ever been produced?... never seen one of these, finished, or inside its box. And if they have indeed been produced, could they have been used as starting points for the production of the same Profil24 models?

Here's a list of kits and planned kits of the now defunct Scalekraft:

Hi.
...There was also the 450 Costin coupé, and again, coinciding with the French manufacturer Profil24 line of Maseratis at this same scale.
Don't know if there is any "hereditarity" here, but if there is I think we should be gratefull, meaning that in some way Guido's work has continuity.
it is a shame that Scalekraft ended its busyness, I liked a lot most of the models that were choosen for production, and hopefully some of the existing models could be used for production of improved versions of these nice models, does anyone agree?...unfortunately they seem to be very scarce!
This would not be the "cannibalism" or "piracy" that unfortunately today exists, when "would be" producers just take an existing model (still being produced) and copy it without second thought! If the original producer is long out of business, why not take something good, and make it better?...I could go with that idea, as long as no one gets "robbed" and modellers would certainly apreciatte the "news".

Scalekraft did the Cunningham 151 team cars also(different roof design). Profil 24 did all the other Maserati's Scalekraft did. I just recieved the Profil 24 Iso Lemans 1964 and it is one of their best kits to date.
