air bag

i bought a used complete steering column with air bag and getting ready to switch out. i heard there is a clock spring in the air bag that may deploy it if steering wheel rotates too many times. is this true? if so how do i figure out when my alignment is correct?

If steering wheel is not keep centered before removal and and after installing it can break clock spring.
As to may deploy unless it shorts power to air bag the bag will not blow.
Just like a bomb you need power to it to blow it.
