Just a thought on intakes..RX8

Hey guys new to the forum here im not sure if this is dumb or extremely smart but would it be possible to modify my air conditioning and relocate a evaporator coil in front of my intake (custom box of some sort) and suck cold air? apparently thos suckers get friggin cold as hell i just calculated that at only 40 Degrees i would experience a 3.7% gain in power altho they get much colder than this at -10 Degrees its a 10.9% increase mind you i wouldint have ac but hey thats what windows are for right? ;) give me some responses
