Been putting lots of highway miles on the car, stopped for gas, started back up to head home and it went to hell. Made it home, went to AZ the next day for codes and got P0353/P0356/P0357/P0358.
Opened her up and found oil in some of the wells of course (i need to do the gaskets asap)... so replaced all the plugs and checked spark from the 3/6/7/8 coils... these are working. But car is still not liking me.
Car idles worse when I remove coils 1/2/4/5/8 but remains the same when I remove 3/6/7.
Yes, the fuel filter needs a change (going to AZ for it as soon as this is posted). Any other suggestions?

The coils will have to be replaced. The way that these coils fail make it difficult or impossible to test for unless you have an oscilloscope and know how to use it.
Please note that Ford will replace the coils and the valve cover gaskets at no cost to you if you have less than 100K miles. See the letter below. You may need to take a copy of it with you to the dealer.
