1998 Intrigue power window failure

All 4 of my power windows stopped working. First the back 2 then the passenger and finally the driver side quit. What is the process to replace the front assemblies? I think I can do this myself and save a good bit of cash. Also my a/c blows slightly cool but never really cold the way it should be. Does it just need charged or balanced? I don't know much about a/c systems and am pretty sure there are no leaks in the system. Any help would be great. Thank you.

If the a/c system isn't blowing cold than its probably low on refrigerant. Its low on refrigerant because there is a leak. A/c compressors are very common sources of leaks on GM's. My personal rule of thumb is if it last a summer on a recharge no problem if it doesn't than its time to fix the leak.

The window motors are not hard to due. Once the door panel is off and the new part is in hand it should be pretty easy to figure out what needs to be done. Make sure you plug the switch back in after you remove the panel and with the key on and with the switch for whatever window your tackling first in the down position, tap the winow motor with a tool of your choice. If the window goes down your on the right track if it doesn't than it wouldn't hurt to at least check for power and ground to the window motor.

With the switch in the up position one wire should have power and one should have ground. With the switch in the down position the opposite wires should now be power and ground. If at any point there is power on both wires at the same time than the switch is bad.

Did your windows all quit at the same time? Or was this a gradual fade.

Normally the window regulators break and not the motor. But it is possible.
