pass key 3 or pk3

i'm having the same problem as many other malibu drivers are having...

late 2005-early 2006 actual man date 09-05

malibu LT 2.2L

problem: stalls driving at all speeds,need to pull over..put in park..and restart...

sometimes will go a couple of miles and other times not even a mile.

i've read here about cutting the data wire and putting a toggle switch in the wire..

does anyone know if this works with the pk3 systems.

or is there something more i should look for...thanks all

my moms car..and there have been some close calls w/stalling at intersections.

The pk3 system is not the problem, look for something in the ignition system for starters.
