How many coats of clear coat?

Just a quick question, how many coats of clear would I put over pearl paint before polishing? Also do I add more after I have polished?

A fair number, depends on the clear you're using. The point is to build up enough clear so that whe nyou polish you don't polish through teh clear and into the pearl. No you don't ahve to clear again after you polish.
