Harmonic Balancer Fell Off

I was driving my 3000 GT down a back road one day and the harmonic balancer just fell off. My car cut off and I coasted it to the side of the road where I could check it out. I collected the pieces that had fallen off and towed the car home. I replaced the harmonic balancer, but the car still won't start. It turns over now, but it just won't catch. Any ideas about what else could be wrong?

You probably bent valves. Do a compression test.

It probably didn't fall off, more like fell apart.

Its more common than you think.

So what is a good replacement harmonic balancer for our cars????:dunno:
