Hi guys,
I have a noob question, when a car is running, does it still need a battery/electric charge?
The thing is my car can suddenly died when I drive it and I took it to a shop and the tech has replaced some parts and it still did not work :(
Now when I start it I have to start and hold the key half way to get the car running... if I let it go it just died..
I have to take it to the another shop but in the mean time can anyone let me know?
Thanks!

Once a vehicle is running it no longer requires the battery to stay running other than to complete the electrical circuit. Older vehicles could run with out a battery. Newer vehicles it would not be wise to try running without a battery.

BTW, it sounds like you have a classic ignition switch failure.
