dealing with raised edges when polishing?!?!

sup fellas

so i'm polishing the hood but i can never got the edges perfect... especially around something thats raised like say something around a SIDEMARKER or the WASHER NOZZLES on the hood... i try my best to sand around them but i can never get them perfect.. any tips?

Man, I cant even get that right on my real car, I dunno how Im gonna do it with a 1:24 car!

I would recommend using a small piece of sandpaper or using a small sanding block. Overall just take your time.

Try a Q-tip and some polishing compound.:)

Take the easy way out. Shave it. I usually sand those things off (like door handles, etc.

The other thing is that many times those items are black plastic, so you can tough them up afterwards. Also, the trick is to get as little orange peel from the start as to minimize that problem at the polishing stage.
