Rear View Mirror/Headlights

hey guys,

i had the auto-dimming rear view mirror which recently went out on me... i was wondering if anyone has tried an after market one or has heard anything about them. I was thinking of trying something like in the link below. The one with the compass but without the temperature reading due to the climate control already telling the temp.

I also have a question about headlights. I have a set of projector style lenses with the halos (so called angel eyes) complete with H.I.D. bulbs and ballasts but dont think they are meeting my standards. I would really like to run H.I.D bulbs. Does anyone have any suggestion to what would be the best headlight housing/bulb combination?

i would try locating a rear view mirror at a local junk yard, or contact Ed Morad. My auto-dim went out last summer, and i picked one up at the local junk yard for $20. I try to stay away from aftermarket as they are usually a hit or miss.

as far as the HID's, i had the kit from ZZP in my GTX. I personally liked them, but Tim will most likely give you another story :uhoh:

i guess ill start there and see what i can find. I would hate to invest that much into a mirror and have it not work out for me. I have ordered parts from ZZP before but never really considered looking into headlights there. Im gonna have to take a look!
