I wished I had found this forum a while back....it sure would have helped me out tremendously! I am not a mechanic but hopefully I can share some of my experience from working on my 1999 K1500. 165,000 miles now and I bought it in 2001. I joined this site in hopes of troubleshooting a "hung buzzer". It is amazing how simple some repairs can be and how big of a deal you can make them. After reading some archived info, I went out and put the #1 fuse back in the burban and buzzer still sounding. I went back to the light switch on the dash and discovered that my 100# lab, while pilling in to go on a ride, BARELY turned the switch toward the running/amber light position. The sun was bright when the problem started and getting dusk when I went back out to "fix" the problem..........I saw the amber lights shining then :loser:! Turned the switch about 1/8" to the off position............problem resolved. KISS method is still one of the best tools in the old tool box. Loking forward to gaining some info and hopefully contributing some as well. Clent
