Just ordered some Mr White Base recently too. Was going to experiment with it a bit and see if it acted as a primer by itself or was better suited to being used as a white base coat over a grey primer. Given the name I suspect the latter. Probably not opaque enough to cover any body mod colour changes by itself.
X21 flat base is intended to be added to Tamiya's gloss paints to flatten the finish. I think they do one for acrylics and one for enamels. Mixing them wouldn't be recommended!

Havent tried Tamiya.
All along using Mr Hobby 1000 and 1200 primers in spray cans.
Seems ok to me.
Bottle forms not too sure though.

Spray it man! Through an airbrush. Have a smell of it - definitely lacquer based so use automotive laquer thinner to reduce it to the right consistancy for your airbrush. Being lacquer based it would dry far too quickly to be any good for regular brushing.
Experiment, try diferent things, you might discover something cool! Or learn Japanese and follow the instructions :p

I have it and used it. It works best sprayed over a gray base. I tried spraying it directly over black, it came out ok I guess. Reduce it with lacquer thinner. :)
