Has anyone put a subwoofer behind the passenger seat in their fiero? I've been thinking about trying it but am not sure how difficult it actully is. I want it to be like this guy's.

Did you use MDF or fiberglass? Also, does anyone have the windshield/doorjamb trim rattle horribly? I'd be nice to find a cheap way to fix that.

I used very very thin MDF and put fiberglass over everything when i did mine, i didnt like it though, had to sit to close to the pedals

Ok thanks. Like I said I'm only going to put one 12 behind passenger seat. I'm planning on the amp being behind the driver.

if you would like to do it the easy cheap way, like me. i installed a sub in the center console, right next to your shoulder, where the glove box like thing is. all i did was cut a hole in it, for a 10" sub, and moved the computer down undrneath where your elbows rest, after cuttin' some plastic first. it took about an hour, easy. then i just put 8" scews in all the mounting holes. i ran the wires to my amp. that is just sittin' behind my seat. it gives me all the "thump" that i need and want! contact me for some more info. or questions and pics- thanks

I just put 2 8's in truck boxes one behind each seat
im 5'11" and if i was a half inch taller i wouldnt of been able to do it on the drivers side. and i put my amp under the carpet on the firewall on passengers side.
i saw one that a guy made a box for it on hinges in the front trunk over the spair tire. but i like putting my sunroof their so that was out.

Well, what ended up doing was putting the box out of my firebird in the passenger seat. Unfortunately, two bad things have happend, my subs voice coil is going bad (I'm getting a new one for free) and the trim that was rattleing ( It's the one that up and over the door glass) got ran over. So if anybody has this part for an 88 Saddle interior car let me know.

another thing that helps is tar get a little bit of tar and put it on the corners that come in contact with the window and dash area etc
