2001 Jetta AVH...kicking my....

I have a 2001 Jetta GL. 2.0 Engine. EPC Light and MIL comes on, intermittently. I clear the codes, do the throttle adaptation, and all is ok. Then after driving for a few miles...sometimes. The light comes on all over again. Seems that I am losing the memory to the TCM. Problem is that when it does happen to me, im in the middle of no where and cant really do much in terms of repairs. It will also seem to "fix" itself when you turn the car off and let it sit for maybe a minute, and you can drive again(full Throttle by wire setup).

17987 - p1579
17950 - p1542
16605 - p0222
17953 - p1545
16891 - p0507
17551 - p1145

newest code i get(after i changed the TCM with a used unit)
17976 - p1568

I know the definition of the codes, and everytime i ask someone, or find anything related on a search....everyones fix is to do the throttle adaption(which does work, but doesnt keep it workiing)

any ideas would be helpful.
