Hi All
First I want to thank the members of this forum for the help I have received throughout the years.
Now that my 93 PA officially needs a transmission I would like to know how hard it is to replace a transmission. Is that a job that a non-professional should try or stay away?
I received quotes from my local transmission shop $1700 for a used one (12month warranty) and $2700 for a remanufactured (3 years warranty). i do not want to invest too much in this car anymore, but having a hard time to commit to another car.
Thanks

Its a bit of a PITA to replace the trans... It can be done but will require a decent bit of work... Then to complicate matters a little more, do you have traction control?
