im looking at buying 03 ext cab S-10 manual and want to know if the 2.2 is a reliable engine don't know much 4 cylinders used to grand prix with 3.8

As far as a 4 Cyl. it does good if proper maintenance.
But no speed demon.
About half power sized compared to 4.3
