97 caravan starting problem fixed!

Thanks to this forum, I today repaired the cause of my caravan -1997 3.3eng intermittently not starting, it would always crank, and start, but stall within seconds, and the guages would not move at all. I took off the instrument cluster, and cleaned both plugs, and all of the pins that plug into the board, with alcohol and compressed air, and it started right up, and has several times now. It always was a problem in humid weather, or rain, especially if I left the windows open.:loser:

Hopefully cleaning the plug and pins will do it for you, generally it takes resoldering the cluster connector to circuit board joints. But if it should come back you know right where to go.
