96' Grand Caravan Transmission Problem

I have a 96 GC its still in goood shape, but last december< I think I bottomed out and hit something and cracked the housing behind the tranny filter were all the gears are. I lost all the fluid and the van has been parked. I would like to know if this is worth fixing. I looked inside the hole and could see some broken gears moving around. Should I just junk. Any response would help :frown:
