Hasegawa kit quality?

I have ever built one. There are several on the shelf locally, are they generally pretty goot fitting and detailed kits?

Generally speaking they are of very good quality. Their Group C kits were a little bit simplified but part fit and mold quality is top notch. They made some very nice F1 kits in 1/24 scale and their rally cars are probably equal to Tamiya. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend giving one a try.

Thanks, theres a couple of Ferraris, the 348, 355 and 355 Challenge. They have been sitting there for years. I might pick one up, after i get a Fujimi F40LM.

Hasegawa does not make F 355's. Those would be Fujimi, and they're not the greatest kits. Hasegawa and Fujimi make 348's, Fujimi's is a curbside (and the basis for the F355's) and Hasegawa's is full-detail. I think the Hasegawa 348 is a good kit, but since 348's bore me to tears, I don't have any. I do have the Fujimi F355's, I love 'em, warts and all, so much better looking car for what is essentially a mid-cycle refresh of the 348.

They gave us few gems: The 944 cup and mostly the TWR racing Jag. Some good kit like the 348 and the group C series. All rally car series aren't at top to me.

But since they're well knowed to do superb aircraft kits (The 1/32 propellers series is to die for and with a good quality/price ratio; some 1/48 jet are superb also despite the price not cheap) I don't understand why they don't switch their engineering knowledge to do a "plastic MFH" , something like the Accurate McLaren I meant, or the Tamiya Enzo: crisp, fit, million parts, detailed at die.

Very good models,usually semplified and without engines. just be careful and test pre assembly. Some models as Delta Integrale serie have nearly all a wrong setup.If u check it before finish the model u can easy fix it..if u follow instructions no.

355 serie is nice.

I am 100% sure they are all Hasegawa, I must be mistaken on the car models. I have been looking at so many lately I am going insane. I ordered some paint from the store, when I go pick it up I will take a look again. I belive they all have engine details. there is a window on the box to show the body, maybe if I shake it gently a bit I can get a view of the parts trees.

I have found a few that are making me drool.
