Rear suspension arm

I've been going some checking on my 89 HB, I pulled off a rear tire and noticed the large rubber bushing towards the front of the suspension arm is torn up.

Can the bushing be replaced alone or am I going to have to replace the whole arm?:(

Thanks.:)

The stock one is like galvanized rubber or something, it would be very hard to put a rubber one in. However many companies make Polyurethane replacements which aren't too hard to get in, give that a shot.

I looked around and Energy Suspension has the exact part I need.:D

Just a warning, the energy suspension bushing takes about 3 days worth of labor to make it fit. First off, you have to remove ALL the old rubber from the bushing base itself. then, you have to remove the 2 inches of solid rubber from the middle axle pin. I would suggest a large torch to burn all the rubber away.

If you can afford the Prothane rear trailing arm bushing kit, i would advise you to get it instead of the energy suspension kit. If you cant afford it, or still have your mind set on energy suspension, just be ready to put in some work but that cheaper price you pay.

btw, i bought the energy suspension bushings..if i had to do it again and could afford the prothane ones, i would've went prothane.
