'94 cutlass low coolant light flashing

Need help! 94 cutlass supreme, 3.1 engine, 150+k miles. low coolant light started flashing. Radiator full and overflow tank at correct level. Temp gauge running normal. Does flashing light indicate some other problem than low coolant?

Welcome to AF, most likely the coolant level sensor is bad or contaminated.
