96 Sebring timing belt problem

I have a 96 sebring that the timing belt broke when driving the car. Ripped it all down put the crank and camshafts at TDC installed the new belt. The problem now is the car will start if you pump the crap out of the gas but once you take your foot off the gas it quits, not to mention when it is running it shakes like crazy and now the power steering pump over flows. Just to say again it is at TDC i checked it 6 times.:rofl::runaround:

Assuming you have the 2.5l engine you can assume bent valves on the front cylinder. In order to repair the engine you will need to replace the bent valves. Not as difficult as it may seem. One tip if you do it yourself, the exhaust manifolds do not need to be taken off the cylinder heads. It is tough to get to them and not required. Can post more help if you decide to do it.
