wierd idle???

hi everyone,
i just picked up a 97 z24 2.4l auto and it is idling weird. (i have already searched through this form to find out what it is but nothing seemed to be like this). it bounces between 700 and 800 rpms, and there is no hesitation when i go to take off. at a stop, in drive, it shakes the whole car and it feels like it wants to just lunge forward (i have to put it in neutral when stopped cuz its driving me crazy!! lol). at first i thought it might be the torque converter, but it only shakes the motor when i put it in neutral (bearable, but annoying). ive changed the plugs, plug cap thingies, air filter and fuel filter but it's still the same. has anyone ever experienced this? or at least have an other idea of where to look?
