93 Accord D4 Flashing will not Start?

We bought a 1993 Honda Accord LX Wagon & drove it the whole day, when we stopped at Autozone of all places to get a headlight, we assumed everything was fine. When we got back in the car to go, the D4 light began flashing in the II position (normally when you'd hear the fuel pump makes it little moan) and the car will not start, matter of fact, the fuel injector doesn't sound off either. We fumbled with keys for about 15 minutes turning it in I, II or even back to 0 positions until finally when we put it in II, the D4 light doesn't flash again and we can hear the fuel injector say "mmmmm" and then we can crank it and it runs fine. No trans slippage, A/C is perfect, engine is barely audible...an all around great ride, until we stop and try to re-crank. It does re-crank immediately after we turn it off, but if we wait more than 10 minutes, it may or may not crank for 5 minutes, or it may not crank up until the next day or so. Rotary button was replaced, ignition switch replaced (got a new set of keys), anti-theft key slot on shifting area was bypassed. Coil replaced. Nothing has fixed it, before we spend the money on a TCU, we really would like to know for sure that it will fixed the issue. All fuses and main relay have been checked thoroughly. When we do get it started, no problems can be found by diagnostics. Paperclipping for codes doesn't change anything, D4 continues to flash the same way, continuous short, fast flashing. This issue is extremely annoying and incovenient and dangerous if I'm out late at night by myself. :runaround: What to do?
