Parking Brake Adjustment

I have an 01 Grand Am GT, I noticed that my parking brake hardly holds the car on a standard driveway even when fully engaged. Anyone know how to adjust the parking brake on this car?

According to Hanes, "The parking brake is self adjusting. If the parking brake pedal travel is excessive or won't hold the vehicle on an incline, the rear brake shoes may need to be adjusted or replaced."
