Exhaust system

whats the best exhaust system to get for the eclipse 2nd gen?

Get anything 3". But DSM favorites are:

Thermal
Apexi n1
RSR
ATR
or any turbo back

I have the 3" Thermal...it's a very nice low rumble/hum sound to it...sounds pretty mean....but depends if you are looking for that "mean" sound or the "ricer" sound (which I just added that because of the other thread you have going about putting decals on your car :( ) But this is just my opinion on the exhaust. :D

I know a guy who'll make me a custom made 3" all the way through Magnaflow..he did my friend's '89 supra and it sounds so nice..nice & deep..I was in my other friend's car, we were about 2 cars behind him and i could feel it in my chest..once I get a little more money I'm going for it

i recently put a competition proven 4" on my 1 gen. it sounds so nice. it has that deep rumble tp it but when u hit about 3500 it gets a nice pitch to it. my brother also put the exact same one on his 2gen. i sugest this one.

a 4" exhaust on a DSM? I'd love to see some pics of that. How much did it run? What did you do for clearance? I've never seen a full 4" exhaust, unless you're talking about the tip.

I had the GReddy EVO, it had an awesome deep bassy sound, plus the muffler is offset higher up so you have more ground clearance. I loved it, best sounding exhaust I have ever heard.

A 4" inch on a DSM is really just totally unnecessary. 3" is completely adequate for 90% of all DSM applications. Unless you are John Sheppard , who runs no exhaust at all..........:bloated:
