Power door locks/windows

I have a 2001 Venture. The other day the power door locks, windows and mirrors stopped working, then later that day the came on again. Then today it's not working again. I checked the fuses and didn't see any problems. Any ideas what it could be and if I could fix it myself? Thanks

Is this only related to the drivers door switches or all of them? Do the door locks work with the RKE or by the door lock?

No, none of the locks/windows work on the whole vehicle. The remote does not work either. Thanks for replying

Looks like the ground for all of those functions is G302 which is supposed to be at the base of the right "B" pillar. Other things like the vanity mirror lights and the map lights go through that ground. I would check at the base of the passenger side B pillar for a corroded ground.

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. I don't know a whole lot about fixing a car, I change the oil/headlights, filters, very basic stuff. So could you explain the location a little more. I'm not quite sure what pillar B means. I apologize. Do you think I could fix it myself or would this be something for a repair shop to do instead?

The passenger side B pillar would be the one right behind the front passenger door. The pillars start at the windshield and go back, that's the "A" pillar, then the "B" pillar, etc... The B pillar is the one between the front door and the sliding door. I'd bet if you start taking off some of the trim on the inside of that pillar you will find a common ground there. If you aren't comfortable, take it to a shop.

Oh I see, thanks. So this might be a another dumb question, but would the ground be labelled G302?

Nope, won't be labeled, that's just what the ground is called on the wiring diagram. If you find a ground in the "B" pillar area that's G302. I gave you the number in case you got an alldata subscription or mitchell subscription it could help you locate the ground on the diagram.

I see, thanks for your help and patience with me. I'll give it a go and see what I can find.
