NEW Driving Ambition's Book BOX / CASE

Hello everyone!
This is Jose, from Colombia, in South America.
It's being a long time since the last time I participated in here; I’ve been very busy lately, but still following this Forum all the time.

Since the Mclaren F1 Driving Ambition book is becoming more expensive every year, and more difficult to get online, I wanted to share with you the new Box/Case that I just built for my book, which I never opened since 2005 until last weekend (May 2010), just after I finished to build this special case for protection of this book and to add an extra value to it.

If anyone is interested on this type of cases or boxes, I can build them for any book or Brand you may need, but I wanted to start with all interested on Mclaren F1. Who has the Driving ambition book and wants to add an additional value to it having a protection box or case?

Please let me know if you are interested and you can also choose materials, colors and writings to be stamped on the box.

The one you will see below is my first box and is covered in black leather imitation, very strong and durable. The box itself is very strong and contains the book very tight and well. The Leather imitation is a lot better than real leather, since this one is easier to glue to the box and resists more than real leather.

That is an absolutely beautiful package there Jose, congratulations. After I saw your post, I decided to look on Amazon at this book and found them in good to great to condition starting at about $200 on up through and past $500. I'm sure yours is worth even more with that beautiful case. Looks completely factory made. I have noticed a few others in the forum with this book. Do you know any threads where I might be able to see a few samples of the pages inside? Thank you for sharing your new case.

How are you? thank you for your post. In fact this is a very nice product i made, and if anyone else is interested, I can sell to those who want to keep their book protected.
In fact for the last 5 years, while i had my book with original clear protection, unopened, i had some images of the pages inside, but unfortunately i lost all my mclaren F1 file with more than 8000 Images including some from the book inside.
I found those images in this forum, but don't remember the post, maybe looking for it in the posts page, typing Mclaren driving ambition, to see if something comes up.
Good luck on the search of your book, and hope you find it.

Thanx for asking.
I spent about US$50 Dollars building it. It has very strong materials, and very resistant. The leather is very strong, it will not scrath at all.
i can build for others if interested.
