Bird under my hood

I have 1997 delta 88 with a 3.8 engine. I changed the serpentine belt and started to hear a chirp from under my hood. The tensioner is good and i changed the pulley. I noticed that it sounded like the alternator was the problem, So does anyone know what i can do to quiet this noise? And the alternator is in working condition by the way.:runaround:
