Intermittent Erratic engine "shaking"

Hi Guys!

When my pontiac trans friend rebuilt the trans, I had him replace the connector for the idle air controller on our 95 TS 3.8.
The connector had broken down from heat, and I thought that would resolve the issue of intermittent engine erratic "rocking". I beleived the problem to be temporary loss of signal from the IAC, but the problem returned. (the IAC under the throttle body?).
I am triggering SES lights from time to time, even without engine stumbling. I hope I am not still haunted by the old MAF "pink" wire syndrome from the past, that had Pontiac calling Dtroit for long periods.
In the past, I believe I replaced the IAC, and am not certain that ever resolved that issue. Unfortunately, this year has the dreaded OBD 1.5.
I have AutoTap for 2,0 and a constat scan guage on my GTX, that will monitor many functions and reset codes on the fly.
Anyway, if you have any ideas or syndromes that were resolved in the past, I would appreciate a response. I believe it is a failing sensor or a bad
wire connection, and do not have the extended time to chase down circuits lately....(always fun right LMP?) ....your fellow 90's Transport way back owner KEV:tongue:

Wish I could put my Scan Tool on it to see what the PCM is seeing and doing... The 95 PCM is actually on in terms of showing information... Just have to have a Tool that is capable of reading the 95 PCM..
