Glad To Be Back......

I took my 'new' 1996 SE 5-speed for a joy-ride today, and I just thought I'd tell you guys it it awesome to be back in the driver's seat of one of these babies. While my 2k2 was faster, it didn't feel like it. The 4th-gen tugs at you to drive it. The smooth shifts, the throttle noise, the weightless feel. The car feels a lot lighter than my old one and doesn't incorporate as much as that luxury-car ride crap. The 5-speed is 100 hundred times less clunkier and has one less shift which, on the highway, you'd be surprised how less tiring it is. I love the throttle sound the VQ30DE kicks up, even just driving at low r.p.m.'s. I believe that the VQ engines are the best sounding engine in a car under 100,000 dollars.

The ride reminded me of when I was 16 and I first got my Maxima.(A 95 SE 5-speed) I just enjoyed every minute of driving the car. Just me and the road, and one bad-ass engine under the hood.

Anyway, just thought I would share my little moment with you guys.

I turned over the payment to my brother until I get out of college and get more money. I wanted a more relaxed payment so I wouldn't have to concentrate on my payment on my car over school. I'm going to get it back some time after I get out of school.(1-1 1/2 years) Now, I don't even have a payment.:D Used cars kick ass:D

yea no payments are nice, im starting school in the fall and i think im gettin a truck in the next week or 2 and sellin the max. i love my max and all, but i might as well get some money out of it while i still can. that and its either truck with 10k miles vs max with 106k. too much shit can go wrong and i wont have the money to put into it. but i think im gonna get another max when i get out of school. only bout 6-7 years to go :(

that sucks. i'm keepin this baby til she croaks. then i'll get a used 350z or g35 6 speed. hopefully i'll be able to have both at one time for a little while. unless the damn skyline ever actually comes out here then i'll sell everything i own to get one.

No payments is a good thing! Both of my cars are paid for.
