2003 explorer door ajar

my 2003 explorers door ajar bell keeps going off, all doors are shut still goes off any help would be greatly appricieated

spray all the latch mechanisms with pb blaster or wd40.

You might want to double check the rear window, the one that lifts up for easy access to the rear area. Not sure, but I think if that window is not completely shut the "door ajar" alert will sound. Long shot, but something similar happened to me on an SUV rental once.

If all else fails, find the bell / buzzer (probably under the dash) and unplug it.

That's a good point, it is quite easy to over look the rear window/hatch and that will, as you mention, trigger the door ajar indication.

sprayed all latches and shut and reshut all doors and rear window still the bell goes off, the buzzer is in side the instrument panel, not behind the dash
