There seems to be limited information on this car. Can anyone provide any links and photos on this car that I may have overlooked. I want to see more of it. I also attempted to contact Don Wallace at Lazydays RV center in florida and I understand he's no longer affiliated with them anymore. Does anyone know the current whereabouts of this car? I heard it may have sold by Don Wallace. Any links and information on 073 would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you :1zhelp:

Hi Daniel
Dan was due to sell the car due to ill health (IIRC??). Try contacting alan w on here as I think he may have some info as to where he saw it (again, IIRC), if not I am sure either Erik or Chris will be along with more info from their side of the pond :)

I conveyed the most recent information I'd come across on #073 here at the beginning of the year:
The story of #073, now being sold by Don Wallace - post #9 (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=6087256&postcount=9)
As for photos - I don't know how far you have managed to dig in the forum, but it can sometimes be difficult to find things so here are a few links I pulled up:
Don Wallace's F1 at the Tampa Bay International Auto Show 2005 (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=481959)
2006 Tampa Bay International Auto Show (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=502354)
073 @ St. Petersburg (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=896438)
#073 at Celebration, FL Pictures (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=559191)
Don Wallace F1 at sema 06 (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=638742)
Some of the old photo links are dead or dying within them, but it is better than nothing. :)

Good heavens guys. Lots of new stuff I never saw before. There's something special about this particular car for me. Must be an amazing ride. Horsepower is 691 on the 073 and 627 hp for the standard road car. Wonder how they did that. It must be even faster with that kind of power no? Do you think there are emissions for California in that car?

The theory that has been widely reported is that it's an LM-spec engine. The only point to the contrary that I've ever seen made was by Mr Selldorff, who mentioned that in speaking to the factory this engine did not have the exact same camshafts as the engine in the LMs.
Anyway, the 691hp figure is less than a 2% difference from the LMs quoted 680hp so you could easily put that difference down to small variables relating to manufacturing tolerances. It's quite common that two engines of the same specifications won't always produce exactly the same amount of power. In fact, the 627hp figure for the standard car has been quoted as a minimum figure, so it is safe to assume that some regular F1s will be slightly healthier than that at random.
I wouldn't assume #073 was ever certified for CA emissions. In Florida it would not have needed to be. If it is living in CA now, and also registered here, then that would be something they'd need to address - not that there aren't a few ways around it anyway.
Based on public records - XP4, 028, 038, 062* & 067* are the only F1s that appear to have ever been tested and met CA emissions at a licensed test center in this state.

Hello,
me too, I have a special feeling with this car because it was my first F1 in real and a surprise in the same time !
691hp or 691bhp... The auction ad told bhp, which equals to 700hp :)

HP and BHP are generally interchangable figures. Link (http://www.onlineconversion.com/forum/forum_1120927513.htm) & Link (http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_the_difference_between_hp_and_bhp)
691 HP does convert to 700.6 PS (metric HP). Perhaps that is what you meant to say Phil? It's still the same amount though, just a different unit of measuring the power. :)

Then Mr. Wallace probably has the car here in Northern CA since I think that's where the car was spotted.
