So when you put the heli-coils in, you changed the starter at the same time?

Did it sound like a chrysler starting before you but the helicoils in too?

I can't recall how the starter bolts to a 350, but are you able to put longer bolts in and put a nut on the back?

I'd be curious to hear a sound clip of a chevy starter sounding like a chrysler. HAHA!

If it has not been drilled out to much and drilled off center the next size bolt is the way to go.
Also on the noise check flywheel teeth and starter drive teeth.
And make sure starter is kicking in good.
