After an engine change including head and turbo rebuild, my Supra will not start. With the starter engaged, it acts like it wants to start, hits a little, RPM increases to about 400 RPM, then with starter released it runs several seconds at 400 RPM then dies. Spark to all plugs is OK. Fuel psi is 42 PSI. Rechecked cam timming and CPS timming. Both right on. Did compression check. Cylinders 1,2, 3, 4, and 5 all around 160.All valve clearances were shimmed either right on or within one thousandth. Cylinder #6 85. Did differential [Leakdown check for #6] Held 80 over 80! Strange!
Car sat several months while the head and turbo were done. Prior to initial start attempt I drained all gas out of the tank [But not the fuel lines]. Thought maybe the injectors were gummed up. Changed injectors. No help. Checked all relays related to fuel pump, [This was prior to checking fuel psi with gage] and injector circuit.Checked resistor pack for injectors. Changed air flow meter and throttle position sensor. Rechecked top dead center of # 1 piston with crank on "0" and balsa dowel down in spark plug hole. Changed computer. No engine codes exist. Even with spray either, using brake boost line, sprayed into intake manifold it will not run. Any ideas ? THANKS for any help.

After an engine change including turbo rebuild and valve job my Supra will not run properly. With starter engaged the RPM increases up to about 400 then when starter is released it runs at 400 RPM several seconds then dies. The car sat several months while the turbo and head were done. Prior to the first start attempt I drained all gas out of the tank. [but not the fuel lines] Thinking maybe the injectors were gummed up, I changed injectors. No help. Rechecked cam and CPS timming. Right on. Spark to all plugs is good. Checked fuel psi. 42 PSI. Have checked every fuse, relay, resistor pack in the entire electrical system and cannot find a problem. Changed computer, air flow meter, and throttle positon sensor. Did compression check. All cylinders except #6 were around 160. # 6 was about 85. Did leakdown check on # 6. Held 80 over 80. Strange! Even with spray either sprayed in the intake manifold it will not run. Any suggestons from folks out there? THANKS
