the 89 dx sedan was sold yesterday to jer's brother.

last summer we went to the junkyard. jer was only supposed to run in so i sat in the car. as i'm sitting a sedan rolls in, guy gets out with pinkslip in hand. a few mins later i see the junkyard owner walking out with the guy to test drive the car.....so i quickly rolled down my window and started listening in on the conversation. jy owner takes it around the block comes back and offers the guy $300 for it and the guy agrees. a couple of mins later jer comes out and i tell him "go get the owner and offer him $500 for that sedan"....jer was like :confused: "ummm, okay?!?!" ( i then quickly explaine what went down). jy guy sells us the car and just before we leave jer tells him "that was a quick $200 made in 10 mins". jk guy looks confused for a sec then looks over at me and back at jer and says "she's a sneaky one" :D
car had 238,000. it ran strong but had a noise. turned out to be the throwout bearing. we dropped a 70,000 mi engine and replacement tranny in. also did the basic replacements (t-belt, water pump, and thermo). his bro bought it from us for $1500. he is stoaked on the car.
it still needed a new valve cover gasket before he could take it. as soon as i get the first bolt off it starts to pour rain. goddamnshitfuckitalltohell! being wet and greasy was not my idea of a sat. afternoon. of course it quit raining 10 mins after i was done. mother nature is a bitch...i hate her ass :bloated:

mother nature is a bitch...i hate her ass living in md......ME TOO! one day its 65 and sunny the next we have a blizzard, the same day its sunny, rainy, sunny, hailing.....we have weird ass weather

yeah, mother nature prevented me from getting my header on this weekend :mad: hopefully me and york2600 get it done saturday. Im goin over to his house around 10, then we are putting the header on, and then doing the full meguairs treatment to the exterior, this thing is gonna be spotless! Then once sublimewls shows up we will be rollin out to the livermore meet
