Predicting the value of something in future terms is a crap shoot. Go for 60-70% of its purchase price as the highest and expect it to be less.

You have to look at the millage being put on the car(should be putting on @12,000 miles a year), the wear and tear on the car (how it looks/runs in 4 years), model production numbers(how rare will it be, will that model car be hard or easy to find), If you plan on adding aftermarket parts (aftermarket parts usually make the cars worth go down not up, especially when done to the engine), I could go on and on there are so many variables it is too hard to figure out. I always say the more you pay for it usually means the more you can sell it for later.:)
