I have an '06 ion coupe. When it is hot out and I'm stuck in traffic, it starts to act up on me. The doors lock repeatedly, the speedometer will jump all over the place (the odometer continues to work_, there is a clicking noise coming from the dash. Corresponding with that clicking the button on the gear shifter clicks, and the transmission doesn't want to shift up, causing the car to be jumpy. Sometimes the power steering message comes on the display, but not every time. Again, this only happens when its hot out, and I've been in stop and go traffic. If i put the car in park, it stops. Anyone have any ideas? Maybe a fuse issue?

would need to run a scan with laptop diagnostic software but to me it sounds like a power distribution center problem or a intermittent wiring problem fuse problem you are on the right track just look under the fuse itself u may just find the problem these car's are either a sweetheart or sob depending on your level of patients and experience :runaround:
