Help picking Rims

I have an 87 DeVille and i'm about to get rims for it. I'm a pre-thinker, so I'm already planning on selling this car and know a choice of what car I'd like to buy next. The problem is the Caddy is Front Wheel Drive, and all the cars I'm looking at are Rear Wheel Drive. Will the FWD rims fit on a RWD car? Does it come down to lug pattern, and if so couldn't I get an adapter? Thanks for the help. Also, can 20" Rims fit on a 87 DeVille without rubbing , or should I just go with 18's ?

FWD and RWD rim size is no different to the other. It would come down to the lugs. If you want help fitting big rims on a Cadillac all I suggest is any of the Lowrider forums, they are bound to have people with Caddys on 18s even 20s there, head to http://www.lowriders.net or http://www.lowrider.com. Buy an issue of Lowrider Magazine even, or head to their site at http://www.lowridermagazine.com and go on to the technical achives!
