Hi all,
started a good old VW Bus T1 quite a while ago.
I'm not sure about the appearance of it in the end BUT i do know that i take the chance to improve my weathering skills. So not much can be said about the kit construction itself, the built can be done within a few hours or so.....;-)
I set my focus on a used and worn-out look, ESPECIALLY RUST. Let's see.
The rusty areas were carefully sanded and thinned from behind, a new X-acto blade was used to make real rough and sharp-edged holes.
The VW-emblem was sanded down and will be replaced by a new one for a more realistic look and 3-D-effect.
Only a few pictures were taken tonight thus i have to get used to my new camera! More when i get to my table again.
