Tire Balancing or Alignment?

Hello,
I drive a 2001 Chevrolet tracker ZR2. Recently I have noticed that I hear a groaning noise (near the front of the vehicle) like when you hit the rumble strips on the side of the freeway. The noise only occurs when I drive around 65 miles per hour. I haven begun to notice my steering wheel shaking when I an up around 70 mph. I'm thinking it could be an alignment or balancing issue with the tires, I do not hear or feel these symptoms when I'm at lower speeds. Any help would be great!
Thanks!

Worn tire or bad wheel bearing.

You didn't say how many miles on the tires, but if they've got over 35-40k then I'd check balance first, then investigate maxwedge's items.
