2001 LT air blows hot (blend door actuator?)

Just discovered this resource and have reviewed a thread on an older blazer blend door.

Everything so far has been helpful. Thanks.

My problem is that I can't seem to locate the actuator behind the the glovebox?

Is there someone that has instructions for the 2001 blazer?

Mechanics tell me it requires dash removal and $$$ all day.
Can't I fix this without a second mortgage

Just had this done to my 98 blazer LT last winter (no heat at all). It does require dash removal, while your in their you may as well change the heater core. Actuator isn't behind glovebox, more towards center of dash, requiring removal. Cost is about a cool grand. If you do this yourself, lookout for the airbag sensors, which is why I left this job for the professionals

There is a how to section down S-10 forum.
If you are going to test it or do it best to get a factory repair manual or a all data online diy sub.

No dash removal needed. Did mine last fall
