Different brake pads

I went and brought some EBC kevlar brake pads today. What a f**ken hassle that was. The pads i got did not fit my car, they were completly different, at the top there was a wire or spring or something that did not match mine. It ended up and after i traced out the pad that they were completly different to what was in the book, the part no. was 759 (i think) that were the correct ones and the 833 were the wrong ones. What a bloody hassel!!!!:bloated: It turns out that maybe nissan in their wisdom decided to use some older brakes, or at least different ones than others, in my car and didn,t bother to tell me. My only theary is that the first pads i got were for an ABS equiped car for which mine is not. Any body else have this prob..
