78 firebird drag car

Im not much of a muscle car person but i figured id try it.

model is a revell, 1/24 78 firebird drag car 3-n-1,discontinued i think

so far just cut the front and rear wheel wells,also made it a hard top,it was a t-top, and shaved the whale tail spoiler of the back in preperation of a drag spoiler

okay update time, just got some models i ordered so now i have spare parts to finish this build

decided to putty the front and make it a "solid fiberglass" drag front clip like the real car

also filled in the fender vents like the real 79

started the sheetmetal interior and rear tubs

for the rear drag wing i decided to chop the wing from the amt f&f supra model

started the engine and compartment,still gotta make wires,piping and make an oil cooler,and various msd electronics

update, did some more touch up and finished rollcage,also painted the wheelie bars
