Wanted to find out from an experienced mechanic:
I have a 1994 Buick Lesabre. Finally have enough in our budget for my wife to get me something nice for Father's Day. I decided on a set of flex head ratcheting wrenches from Gearwrench. Since she is unable to afford both sets, at least for now, which size fasteners does my car mostly have, metric or SAE? I have done some basic repairs and have found a mixed bag. So can someone tell me what percentage is metric and SAE on my car? At least since they are the flex heads for hard to reach areas, wanted to know which to get. Thanks for any input.......:smokin:

This car has metric hardware. 13mm is about the same as 1/2 in. but for all purposes it is all metric.

It is metric as was said. However, most tool sets will not have an 18mm, which for this car you need on occasion. I had to buy individual sockets and a wrench to get this size. Also, make sure it has 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 17. 8 is not completely necessary for the kit as you can just get an individual wrench, but the other sizes are all used extensively. Extremely rarely is there an 11mm nut or bolt. (One exception is two of the oil pan nuts on a 92 Lesabre.)

Also sears has lifetime warranty. Anything breaks take it back and they will replace. Love my Sears set.
