no spark

i got a 95 tauras 3.0 loosing spark sometimes no spark at all i replaced complete distrbuter and coil cap and rotor but how does anyone feel about it being a crank censer is so were is it mitchell online was no help

or any other ideas cause im at a total loss here

Sound plausible. My crank sensor is located on the front of the engine all the way down at the crank pulley. I'm also wondering if you might not have a short in the wiring going to the coil.

Since your car still has a full distributor you may not have a CKP, but if you do, it would be located and the crankshaft pulley as brunnj mentioned. How did you confirm that lack of spark is the issue? Did the new distributor have any effect? Does the engine run smoothly otherwise?
