Was the alternator tested on the vehicle? Use a digital volt meter, take reading across battery posts, everything turned off. The generic spec for a full charge is 12.6 volts. Then, start the vehicle, take a second reading across the battery posts. The second reading should be higher than the first, if the charging system is working.
Another thought is excessive drain, vehicle not running. I don't have the normal spec in front of me, probably not more than 50 milliamps, that is .050, not even a tenth of amp. An older way to check for drain, is place a testlite between battery cable and battery posts, if the lite comes on, you have a drain. You start pulling fuses one at a time, when you pull the fuse on the faulty circuit, the lite goes out. Check the vehicle in the dark for any lites that may be staying on, under the hood-- in the trunk-- interior somewhere.
