hey all,...have been hearing rumours that nissan's gtr has been a sales disaster,...and they are thinking of canning this baby,...have you folks heard anything similar?,...personally,...i'm not at all surprised if true,...live here in d.c. metro area,...very wealthy area,...and i never see this car,...see lots of porsche 911's,...vettes,...m3's,...even the occasional ferrari and lambo,...NEVER see the gtr,...thinking the reason is that the folks who have the money for this car what something with more badge appeal...[i.e porsche],..and the hot-shits[young folks] who love the gtr can't afford it,...plus nissan's stupid no-test drive policy,...so there's the formula for a turkey if ever there was one!...what do you fine folks hear?

Dunno, doesn't seem like theyd trash the idea that quickly though. Although I never did like the thing

I have only seen one in upstate SC and it was headed south on I-85 towards Atlanta and had Georgia plates on it.

I'm surprised. I've heard the GT-R is thriving in this economy.

I doubt it. I live in Kentucky, and I've seen a handful (give or take) in Lexington and Louisville. I've even seen a few on I-64, headed towards Tennessee.
I also genuinely hope they don't can the GT-R already.
Don't get me wrong, I love Nissan, but you can't let something die incomplete.
I just feel like the GT-R has much more potential than what Nissan is doing with it.
