ABS and TRAC off light on

Hey, I replaced my front right and rear right hub bearings last year around the summer time since the ABS and trac light was on. The light went off after changing the two bearings. But the light came back on around January this year and I had the car scanned and the shop said it was my front left bearing that needed replacing so I replaced it. The lights went off. Now this week the two lights came on again. So its probably the left rear bearing that needs replacing. Is this normal for all the bearings to go out within a year of each other? I have a 2002 Grand Prix GT with 99,200 miles.

not necessarily "common" but it does happen. When i recently changed my right front hub i just changed the left as well to avoid this from hapenning.

Where are you getting the part from? Same place or different places?

Since they all get the same mileage, it's not uncommon for parts like this to fail within a short time of each other. If the roads where you are are like they are here in Michigan, the potholes and expansion joints are more at fault than the design of the bearings.

I am starting to have this same issue. How do you learn which wheel hub to replace?

jack the car up, grab the tire at the 12 and 6 o'clock position try to wiggle the tire. If it has play in it...the wheel bearing is bad.
